R.A.M. Composite Concepts

You know how much I love Kershaw, and I know this will rub some the wrong way....

but as cool as a composite blade is, I'm already starting to OD on it.

I really liked the original 2nd version that looked like razor wire.

Nothing wrong with that. Heck, I liked the 1st version the best in the beginning.

i like Gavin's design, but Magnum22 is very interesting! :D gavin could send me an email i have a question? :)
 
Thomas, all those designs are pretty good, but something is just not QUITE there.

I want a RAM with a composite blade so incredible that it is my EDC and my ENC. A multi-purpose blade with all the right curves. A knife that never wants to leave my pocket. Also ZPM and D2 are old hat now, T&A steel would be my first choice.

what are the odds of getting one of these with a titanium handle? or maybe a zdp-189 blade?
 
I imagine that the costs might be too high. but I would get one if it were <200 dollars.... :D
 
another vote for Gavin's, i think the RAM seems to be a good choice for an inorganic composite design.
 
Another vote for Gavin's design. I would also love a Damascus blade, hurry up Kershaw and get these new models out so I can buy them.

But in all honesty I'm starting to hate my RAM a little bit.







I have a whole shelf of knives that I spent hundreds of dollars on and every damn day I end up grabbing my RAM :(
 
Both types are cool.
But i better like upper pattern...

I really like that one the best. The design flows well with the shapes in the handle.

The "Barbed Wire" one first struck me as Southwest American Indian, but the knife itself does not.

I think with the intended hard use of this knife D2 would work well.
