Was taking a walk yesterday and my RC6 clip plate must have slipped off my belt some how, I searched for hours.

Truly bummed
the worst thing is some dumbass will most likely find it and use it for somthing stupid

I hope it is never found by anyone (EXCEPT ME IF POSSIBLE) and gets to
REST IN PEACE.

I actually feel stoooopid posting this........

That sucks but it happens. You should go rent a metal detector or something if you have a general idea of where it is.

Bummer's dude! BTW Where were you when this happened? And what color blade/handle combo did you have? I ask cause we are in the same neck of the woods I believe and if I see your knife, I would send it back.

I live in South Ogden, I think its about 3 hours from ephraim.
I also covered alot of area and the snow don't help finding anything....

black blade, grey handle (stock)

Ok, not poking fun of you, seriously, but this made me giggle...

How many ESEE-6's do you typically find on the ground in the woods?

:D

Maybe you can go back out right after the snow melts and look again. You could get lucky, I hope......

Oh, this must explain the ESEE 6 that I found today. Would you like me to send it back?

get a metal detector ASAP (or hire someone with one). Retrace your steps in the snow. You WILL find it if you act quickly.

i found my prized LILE knife that way once here in winter, after it slipped out of the sheath while night hiking. Borrowed a buddy's detector and at first light went back and started searching. Found it in two feet of snow, it barely left a mark on the surface of the snow where it entered.

Man, That sucks!! I really hope you find your knife. I would feel crushed If I lost my knife like that.

That sucks man.

I haven't received my ESEE-6 but imagine that it is fairly heavy. Were you walking with a lot of gear? I would imagine that you would've felt the weight difference.....I've noticed small folders or my cell phone weight gone and noticed a difference.

Good luck trying to find it, I hope you succeed.

Someone give this man a blade! Lol maybe one of those nice throwers!

I don't think I could except one for me being a dumbass.

Just don't tell my wife, she got it for me for christmas, and I will
never hear the end of it if she finds out....

I know how I hate to lose anything, which I do often, I can't imagine how I would feel losing such a great blade! I feel your pain!

Know I didn't have alot of gear, I just had alot of clothing on, I hate winter....

Seems like several people have recently lost knives in the woods inexplicably.

My guess is that there is a group of well-armed chupacabras running around somewhere.

Dude, I feel for you. I was splitting and batoning some firewood the other night and apparently dislodged my BK-9, which fell into some snow. I forgot where I stuck it, so it took me 20 minutes to figure out where it fell and dig it out, and this was in my own back yard! Hope it turns up for you.
