Sad isn't it. People forget quickly (or likely never learned) that this was a racial slur used against a group of US citizens that where rounded up and put in prison camps. US born citizens. Their families were destroyed.

But what the hell, great knife I guess

I thought it was ragingjap, as in raging jewish american princess. It isn’t uncommon for them to name knives after fearsome creatures. Lol

For another great Japanese brand check out Katsu. I recently got a Katsu Ti framelock from bf member Gary. Cannot believe how amazing this knife is for under 100$.
