The only thing about that setup is that slap straps weigh about half that setup and really aren't that expensive. I like to hike so equipment weight is always something to think about for me.

You might be better off with whoopie slings then. I don't care so much about weight, as long as it is worth its weight. Those straps I use do everything, have a lot of length which gives you more hanging options, and are super easy to adjust. I can set it it really quick. I always have other ways to rig things though. My system revolves around multi-use raw materials and I can get really MacGuyver with them. Sometimes though when the trees are closer together, something like the slapstraps is better. I like how I can connect everything together though. And if you are camping out of your trunk, weight doesn't matter much.
