I recognize that blade. It is cast dendritic D2 or 440C. It is cast off the blade hawkeye carried in last of the Mohican's. Made by a guy just north of me that I met at a knife show, here a couple years ago. I don't remember his name. The good news is, I have one of those blades that I trades him for and have never put a handle on it. Let me know if ya wanna trade me out of it...;)

ted-- thanks for the info. man..:thumbup: huh.. a cast off of Hawkeye's knife... i can see it now... no wonder i like it so much... i love the blade design on this knife.. it seems like solid user...
i would love to see some pics of the one that you have.. if that is possible... i'll drop you an email soon, after all the christmas madness has settled...:o
