My entry in the Ramanon Bushcraft knife buildoff is going to be my guardless Ladyfinger model. The steel is Spalted 01, 5/32" thick with a convex sabergrind. I took a pic of the woods I was considering. See pic. The knife is 8.5" long, and has a 4" drop point blade.

Spalted 01 is what I'm calling this new effect I'm showing off on the steel.

More closeups of the spalted looking effect.

Got to glue. Stabalized Hard Maple crotch with black canvas micarta bolsters, and 1/8" thick nat can micarta liner with matching pins and bullseye filler. I'm on a black and brown kick. The bolster is dovetailed over the Maple.

At this point what is left is the handle finish, blade finish, and signature.

So.

Umm.

When it's done ... and after you've got your prize ... what were you thinking of doing with the knife?:o;)

Andy,

What's the handle width on that?

Which direction? Thickness, or edge to spine?

I'm digging it Andy

Thanks bro! Keep posting over here. Nice having you around.

Andy, what Ramanon forum has, or will have, the voting and raffle?
