I really like the non-metallic pins, along with the bullseye lanyard hole it's very distinctively yours.

Thanks guys. I'm really proud of this one. Look at that plunge pic. And, it seems Dylan and I have figured out how to get really pretty spalted looking steel too.

You should be.

I am not a gambler, at all. I understand statistics at its most fundamental level and gambling just seems like a simple homework problem to me.

Yet here I am buying lottery tickets!:o

The man to ask is Andy Colglazer. I don't know!

Andy I really like that etch!

Would you (for my undereducated brain's benefit) please help me understand the difference between your Spalted 01 etch and a Cohea etch?

They look quite similar to me, excepting the Spalted 01 appears a little lighter or "open" in appearance.

Thanks!

Kurt.

I stand (well...sit) corrected, Andy.

The Spalted 01 effect is a beautiful effect. Is it ethical to inquire how you do it? I'll shamelessly admit that I'm being a bit selfish in asking...because I'm wondering if it's possible to do it for the Ladyfinger you're building me.

Kurt.

I'm working out how to control it to get the effect I want. I'm close. I can do it on any knife, and will likely be doing it on most from here on out. Its really striking up close.

U won't like it. Let me keep it.
