Rambo only like battlefield pickups
He had a straight razor that he took from the Sheriff, who was trying to shave and cut his hair. Rambo got the razor and gutted and killed a deputy (Galt), before escaping buck naked out of the Sheriff's office and hijacking a motorcycle. The book is really good. It's my understanding that in the book "First Blood" by David Morrell, that the movie was based on, Rambo didn't even have a knife.
But I'll say Marine Kabar. He was a Vietnam vet after all.

Great book......Very different from the movie in so many areas!!!!! The books for the other movies are AWESOME too........CHECK OUT----------- THE BROTHERHOOD of the ROSE..... Cool pic of Sly with Jimmy Lile, you can read Lile’s name badge. Rudy Ruana made knives for troops in WW2 and later, Bonner, MT, the company is still existence today. He had stag scales in between the handle.
It has been done. Check out The Naked Prey with Cornel Wilde (1965). It is an excellent African adventure/survival tale inspired by the story of John Colter. Shot on location, and praised by collectors for using real/realistic weapons. I rate it higher than First Blood, although that is also one of my favorite movie.Yeah incorporating a buck naked Rambo dispatching a Sheriff and hijacking a motorcycle might be problematic when you are producing a PG movie. Like producing a PG of John Colter escaping Blackfleet Indians![]()
