Rambo knife...has seen better days

I want to sell it, but it's obvious it's "seen some things and done some stuff. It wouldn't recommend it!!" It's a bit worn, but what is it worth? It's pretty old. Has a liquid compass in the handle, which unscrews. I assume there used to be needle, thread, other crap in there.

It's worth about $3.

I just bought a new one (as kind of a joke) for about $8 after taxes.

Better pics would help. Is there any maker's mark or other info? Lots of those were made, very cheaply in China, and sold at flea markets, etc..
 
As Bryfry said, probably no more than a few bucks...

Unless it has historic/sentimental value people rarely buy used knives in rough shape.

Just go dull the edge on some rock and trash it.

I don't see any distinguishing marks or tags...it's beat the hell up. It's all metal, that's all I can tell ya...handle and all.

Actually, I was thinking they made the knife look more elegant....... And high maintenance.
 
Worth about $1.00 or so, with a lot of talking maybe $2.00. :D
 
Mine opened a ton of beers when I was 10. That was just about the only thing it was good for...getting me drunk.
Also, love the designer Chanel back-scratchers. HOT.

Nope, but I did see more than a few people carring them when I was in the USMC back then.

You didn't get even ONE for $5, just for laughs?
You should get one now and do one of your tests on it...it'd be cool to see just what that crummy old knife could do.:)

Yeah I guess they worked for opening MRE's just fine. LOL

Most ended up broken in some way or replaced by K-Bars once the guys realised what they had.

Maybe one day once I get back to working, should be soon I think. :)

It wouldn't last more than a few seconds though....

Ah, but the nostalgia which it will bring.:)
And who knows, maybe it'll be slightly less crappy than we all think (but probably not)
