Rampant Becker detractor outed as an apparent scam artist (on another forum)...

Is this the dude that complained he couldn't put an edge on a BK2 no matter how hard he tried and that he's been sharpening blades with every known instrument since the dawn of mankind?

Yeah, I think it was a scam to get someone to give up information on themselves, as "Well, send me your knife so I can see......" or "I need your address so I can see send this....." or " Send me that sharpener your using, and I'll give it a try......"

He deleted the thread when me and Biscuit showed up to smack his ass down.

i belong to a forum that has a bunch of guys from that area. i'm going to see if any of them want to go pay him a visit and see if the info is correct and then contact the law so they can put him where he belongs.

I remember that rash of threads we had from a few different nicknames about broken beckers or defective beckers, were those him?

He is using multiple proxy servers, and an IP mask. At other forums, OP are allowed to delete their own threads.

If it was as easy as an IP trace, he would be outted and left out. As is, he can show up a few minutes after he's banned.

and we have something here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/862780-1095CV-vs.-SR101/page2 about broken beckers, including links to some spectactular breaks (and warranteeeed!) and BK5 content too :) and we're cool with KalEl. no one time posting and running away there.

Yes and no. The stolen knife isn't from Iz. Iz actually gave this guy a knife. I guess he felt bad for him.

Goes to show that on a forum you get great people (like Iz) and slimeballs like DWAT.
 
I can't read all that right now. Pages and pages. I just hope the catch the chump and can charge him with theft and mail fraud.

I think Iz sent him a k nife becuase he felt sorry for him (guy played up the disabled vet angle) it was legacy knife co (the infidel on BCUSA) he stole the knife from i believe.

That's all I'll say. Not my location or drive time XD In all reality, don't get so excited/upset something dumb is done. It's easy to do when looking at a situation like this... Just sayin.
 
It wasn't hard to tell he was a tard. He didn't like beckers, That's a target indicator right there. I liken it to someone who doesn't like bacon, I mean damn Don't like Becker's or Bacon what the hell is wrong with you.
