His IP was hidden through a proxy, not sure if his store was even real or not or what the name was. But his shipping address is posted on the first page

You know what sucks the worst, the fact that this guy just ruins the forums for people. I mean im very open and giving and I would let someone try out my knives and I've had people offer to do the same for me. The sucky part is that now, in the back of my mind, im paranoid. There was a post up today about a misshaped bk2 and while typing my response to the thread a little voice yelled in my mind "no danceswithtrout in disguise I will not send you my bk2 for comparison!"

Of course it wasn't him and he had his own blades to compare but I hate that some jerk has put that thought in my mind

That Cleveland address is listed as an apartment complex called Brookside Way - was the guy using it as the address of his alleged gun-shop?

Wanna add my 2 cents,

He also stole a knife from Ranger Joe at BCUSA. It was a knife made by Iz, the guy wouldn't stop about wanting a "Turley". So Joe decided to sell him his personal Boones Creek Turley. Joe never got the money. I've met Joe at a Hardwoodsman Meet (BCUSA get together) back in May, he is a heck of a great guy.

I have met Iz a couple of times and own a couple of his knives. I visit with him a good little bit on BCUSA and I would call Iz my friend. I know a good few other people on BCUSA that have met this DWAT in person that live in the Ohio area and this piece of trash played alot of people very well.

I hope this guy gets what ever he has earned.

The main thing I can say is try to trust your instinct. Before sending anything to anybody, really try to check the person out with people you know and trust. Use secure methods of payment where you have a bit of protection.

This POS didn't just steal from people, he played with their emotions and LIED STRAIGHT TO THEIR FACE. HE EVEN WENT TO A MEET IN OHIO AND CONNED PEOPLE THERE. He is a real piece of trash.

I hope I am not out of line, I am not an old hand around this place, just want to back up everyone else's story.

Thanks Ross,

Also want to add, post count does not exactly make a person any better or worse, its a good sign I guess of how long they have been around and sort of, most people can use it as a badge of honor, it takes a lot of work to put out good posts.

DWAT joined BCUSA in March I believe and had 1200 some posts there at the end. Reading his posts he sounds credible. Again I say, please be careful.

i just got off the phone with a lt. machesky who is in the money fraud division. he said anyone who has been ripped off by this person to come in and file a report so they can start an investigation. he can be reached at 216 623 5450. pass this info on to anyone that has been ripped off.

Thanks brother, I sent that info to one of the Elders at BCUSA. I hope the justice system prevails.

some of this information, name, bio, nicknames, aliases, could also be posted to the good/bad sales threads. nobody likes a thief. even an undead one.

I assume nobody likes thieves yeah but they're everywhere now. They're unstoppable because their resources are growing online and almost all info are available for them here which does the trick. For them, the business is young and they've just started. Have you heard terrible stories of identity theft? I came across a couple which brings me to a higher state of paranoia.

I'm hoping that someday we can pay someone or an institution to buy our privacy. Call it crazy but I just think that a lot of social networking sites and search engines are earning so much money selling our info. I can consider paying few bucks with my security in return.
