It you have a user, but want jimping, you can do that with a hacksaw or chain saw file. There are many modifications that can be made for next to zero $ to tweak a knife to your personal desire. I just take it to the extreme sometimes. Guess that comes from being a maker and artist (sculptor) for years. I can manipulate the medium and get a better feel. Just different ways of doing it. I'm glad I can do it my way.

I'll try to keep the notion that beginning a statement with "this is not a slam" is actually the opposite and considered a slam, even though I truly did not mean for it to be a slam. Guess I did not grow up with passive aggressiveness. Oh dang, that last sentence could be misconstrued as passive aggressive. :)

oh, wait, i bet KaBar would save money by making rampless BK9s and 7s. they had to start with wider stock right? and lose most of it. now, they can start with narrower stock, and have less waste.

course, the whole point of those knives is ... military. they want ramps. period.

just wait, i'm sure we'll get our big choppers soon, and the BK9 will be a forgotten military relic ;>

What chew talking about? Unless becker is coming out with those memory eraser flashlights from men in black I highly doubt I'll forget my 9. Though you could try and persuade me with a lovely new Machax :rolleyes:
 
the real BK8 is also an abomination, but well, you can't use that number ;)
