Randall knives ! a disappointment .

I had ordered a M14 from Randall, after paying $20 deposit, they told me that I have to wait two years and five months to get it.
If I knew this could happen, I would rather buy other stuffs. The payment had been made. Cancel it? $ 20 may go trash can. Keep on order? I may not remembered the order after two years and five months.
Dear friends ! where to get Randall M14 fast, please let me know. Thanks!
 
In light of the fact that Randall clearly states that they have a 24 month wait on new knife orders, why did you send them a deposit if you didn't want to wait that long?

Unless Randall has changed their policy, which I doubt, they will refund your money. They have always had a policy of layaway and right up until your knife ships, will refund your money if you change your mind. They also clearly state their waiting time in their literature and online. You need to make a call to them or write a letter because you are trying to trash a FINE company here while you are in total ignorance. This is not right!

You might also try working with a Randall dealer. I talked with a guy by the name of Danny, who, as a Randall dealer, can get custom-ordered knives in about 3 months. He sells at current Randall catalog prices. Danny's email address is whodanny@aol.com . You might give that a try.
