Randall's Adventure & Training JUNGLA Backpack

sweet!
I will be looking forward to seeing the final product in the spring.
some good design work in that. nice job.

Oh great! RAT will now be making packs, another of my many fetishes. Now there REALLY is no hope for a secure retirement.

I like packs that open this way too....Makes it easy to get what you are looking for out, and to pack more efficiantly...

This one looks like a winner. Im exited to see more on it!

Looks great! I'd prefer the added MOLLE webbing on the upper portion of the straps (great for inverted knife carry) and across the face of the bag, but that's just me. If I end up in the market for another pack, I know what I'm going for!

That is the upper portion of the straps when you put it on

That is not the key point for me, as I don't fly as often as I used to, but it is definitely good thinking ... a friend of mine had a rucksack ripped on the conveyor belt in an airport, cause the straps were caught somewhere, not fun ...

This happened to my wife and I as well. Not only ripped the strap, but the pack itself, and caused half the zippers to blow apart.... not a great way to start a vacation to a remote island in FL, let me tell ya! Of course I didnt mention to her that putting 8000cu inches of clothing (none of which she needed all week) into a 3000cu inch pack might have had something to do with the zipper explosion.... :D

well i would like to take the time to thank the guys at rat for letting me know i needed a new pack....all this time i was happy with my blackhawk pack not knowing that i needed something better. though i appriciate you....my wallet does not....haha....looks good as always....

Very nice. Looks like it has a lot of potential. I don't have a ton in the way of gear and don't yet have a pack of this size. Looks like I soon will :D

Hey Jeff - what about adding some sort of loop/strap/ring - SOMETHING higher up on both pack-straps where the drinking tube from the water bladder can be easily attached/detached without the excess tubing getting in the way?

Maybe I missed it. What will the warranty be like?

Looks like it has great potential.

What a great lookin' pack Jeff! I've been hunting for a new pack and haven't been able to find one that suits my eye and is the right size that I need. I can't wait for it to come out, so I'll have a new pack to haul my stuff in. Great job!!!

hi, this looks like a really nice size and easy to organize pack, would be great as a hunting pack.

i would like to see you guys make a larger pack too later, something you can put a sleeping bag in and enough food and gear for a couple weeks in the rockies.

keep up the cool stuff

thanks

Very nice, My heart fluttered a little when I saw the pics. I know TTD is in heaven right now..Cant have too many Packs! Perfect size for day carry and expandable to carry the things u need for a week.and with the ESEE logo just adds to its bad assness. Nice job guys.

Baggage handlers at airports are probably the main cause of luggage destruction. That would be human and mechanical. I watched one day behind the scenes as two baggage handlers tried alternately to rip a shoulder strap on a backpack by yanking it harder and harder. They stopped and laughed when they saw me watching but I believe that is commonplace. This pack will survive dumbasses like that:)

That reminds me of the old samsonite luggage gorilla"luggage monkey" add, gave me a laugh.

I think I will wait on a maxpedition for this one, good no frills looking pack and probably just fits in carryon when full. NICE
