I have an old stock Enfield bayonet here and have always wondered if it could be made into a passable knife.

Thats the first time i've seen a Trailhawk and a Rifleman's hawk in the one pic.
The rifleman's hawk is bigger than i thought!

Im not sure about the bayonet, I had recived it from a friend of mine in the army, as far as he knew it was cerimonial, but it takes a great edge and holds it, Its retention is better than the stainless steel in Grohmann knives, its %100 scandi ground now and works ok.

Yeah, the trail hawk is tiny in comparison, the riflemans hawk was nice, but I allways found the head too havey for the hawk style handle.

Here are most of my fixed blades.

I just got this from Ray. Matt did a great job of designing the HWK, it's really a perfect all around knife. Just got the Les Stroud book too.

Here's one that just came in the mail a couple of days ago.

A shot from a short hike I took today.

I haven't played with it much but I'm very happy so far. The white in the handle is Reindeer antler.

Thanks man. Knife below the HWK is from Jim Moyer, I think Myakka originally had it made for him. It looks like it's based on the Beck Scout knife. It's a stout beast!

The one above the RC4 is a custom I had made by a local maker here in CA named Marcus Clinco. I wanted a light but stout spear point, he did it off a drawing I sent him.

It's a great ride for sure, I hit it often when the weather is nice. The view from up there is pretty but it was a bear to climb.
