Random Photo Thread!

Very nice! The train is very cool..l I especially like the look of the metal on it.

Awesome Corvette! An old roommate had a Stingray he was restoring... 383 stroker motor and just nuts! good times

I've been a life long Porsche nut, but in recent years have come to really appreciate what the Corvettes really are. Awesome car! But, I would still take a 911 over a 'vette!

Either way, both are nicer than mine, lol!

We need a vehicle thread!

I have a 1990 4runner that rocks! It is slow but has never let me down... gets great mileage and can go anywhere. 3/4 ton capacity too!

I have had quite a lot of different vehicles over the years. I'll eventually fix up my 1962 Ford Unibody as it is such a cool truck, I love the lines. It is a work of art and they only made them like mine for a year or two.

I also want a Porsche 944 turbo or 924s, they are about the best bang for the buck out there... the 924s is a classic. Of course out here a Toyota FJ40 might be a better idea!

0037ksm, Looks like you had a good time! A pic of my buddy Greasy Pete's VW

Haha, "M" has never looked better! Although Pete has done so much to it since you owned it Kevin, nothing to make it run better, just stickers and barbie dolls!

Btw, "Greasy" is not a term of affection for an old mechanic, it is a description of Pete. He's one of those guys who doesn't wash his hands because he's just going to get them dirty again. Good guy, though!

I taught the D200 a new trick today, multiple exposure! Now I can finally record what exactly I see when I'm drunk...

Sorry for the shoddy screen shot, no home internet only cell based at the moment.

This is out my bedroom window, and generally how I see things after a sixxer, lol! Working on one now.

LOL that bus was hacked up in the late 60's or early 70's by some Berkley engineering students. It is pretty interesting to see how it was reinforced. I don't think Pete eats anything you have to cook :D
Now for your viewing pleasure..............BUTTER!

Car show over the July 4th weekend nearby... The kiddo loved it! Some insanely awesome cars... one guy wouldn't stop talking about his 800hp chevy.. thing was siiiiiick... Here is just a snap shot of what was there, over 100 cars easily. Lots of Fords.. Also there was an old section of military jeeps, pretty tight..

Nice 'vette there! I love car shows, got a good one coming up next month here in town. Funny, always tons o Fords, but if you count motor brands, there's always more Chevys. Those Ford guys can't deny it, they seem to like dropping a rat motor into their old Fords. There is a local with a funky little Datsun pickup that has a blown Rat motor in it, tilt-up front end, full tube chassis and cage, completely set up for 1/4 mile racing. He said its something like 500HP at th fly wheel. I don't know how it even goes anywhere with no weight over the rear end!

Awesome pics! I like those slotted valve covers...

Ford vs Chevy... I like both! I'll take a Dodge with a 318 or hemi too!

I'm a big fan of all sorts of vehicles and have almost always had some sort of project going on. The 1962 Ford truck is next, I'll either rebuild the 351C (maybe just gaskets if I'm lucky!) or locate something along the lines of a 289 for it. I have always been into handling over speed but love the lines of this truck... it has a good front end design which is nice.... straight axle! I'll fix it up in a basic style, suede house paint, etc.... it has been restored in a 1970's style before and I'll keep it that way, mag rims, hurst shifter just like I wanted as a kid! :D

Hello everyone,

Hope all is well. Haven't really had time to do much in the way of forging or anything like that. I did get a chance to snap a shot of the ford my dad and I are working on for my uncle. Finally got the hood back from the painters. Now we just need the bed, new wheels and tires, and some interior work.
