Don’t get dressed in the dark.
Just found out a few minutes back, that an acquaintance carries a generic production folder. It's going to be all about utility/defense and easy carry- the 3 finger fixed blade and the kitchen knife will be a great introduction in my opinion.having spent so much of my career in the bike industry, watching these clueless male dominated companies try to figure out how to get more women involved in their brand, I can say with some confidence that making a pink version is not useful. There has to be sincere inclusion, and that revolves around representation.
right off the top of my head, the easiest, cheapest and most effective way to draw more female clientele to the brand is for a woman to represent the brand. Competing in Bladesports isn't a wrong way to do this, but is such a niche setting etc. that it's tough to get the word out.
one experiment to try is for Jo to be featured a youtube video. Editing goes a long way in drawing eyes and interest. Maybe a little footy from Bladesports, but mostly using knives in a more normal setting- say setting up a fire, cutting up bbq stuff, carving up some tent pegs...
if you want to engage people, you have to speak with them. There are a lot of women involved in mountain biking now, because the industry has evolved and drawn more women into it. CPK already has that, and in my opinion, just needs to leverage it.
We tried that with the EDC. Did not even sell 5 sets...![]()
Not a standard pattern, gotcha. Won’t be available, check. This is not for sale, I understand.Random thought:

I still think that a good kitchen knife is a must. Most of us use our kitchen knives more than our folders/fixed blades, and you can get a special enjoyment out of using a good knife to cook a nice meal for your family.Random thought:

I'll have to look. I know Nicole from blade sports got a set and my sister got a set. I'll have to look to see if I've still got the other two sets.Hey Jo,
I would buy a set of these if you still have them. My wife would appreciate them.
Thanks!
Phil
I was sitting in a traffic jam on I30 in downtown Ft. Worth one day a couple of years ago, I'm in the left lane and a similar truck is one car ahead of me in the middle lane. I see a sport bike splitting lanes coming up behind me. Splitting lanes in Texas is illegal as such it is frowned upon by everyone not on a bike. Personally I give air cooled bikes a pass if traffic is at a standstill. He isn't very good at it, a little wobblily. He clips his helmet on the big ass mirror and crashes into the car in front of me. He was just shaken up not hurt, he did manage to pop a hose on the bike and blow coolant everywhere. We pushed his bike over onto the median, I'm guessing it had to be towed home. Both the car in front of me and the truck had minor damage. Pretty good entertainment for sitting in a traffic jam.Got the tow mirrors on tonight. Ready to drag the trailer somewhere Friday night now. Should I leave them up like all the cool kids?

It's never too late, Jo...The pink G10 apparently did finally sell at some point, but they were not as popular as I thought they might be. I am not a "pink" person myself, but I thought on a small knife they might have been popular. They did look pretty cool.
