Will Smith has just been BANNED from the Oscars presentation for 10 years for slapping Chris Rock on National TV but IMO that's not good enough. He should have been banned for LIFE! What a d*ckhead move!

I never thought much of Smith as an "actor" but I found many of his movies amusing and enjoyable but I'm done w/him. And enough of him trying to put his talentless son into the movies. Anyone else see "After Earth"? LOL! ;)

Funny thing is that NO ONE in the media or in the Black Lives Matter "movement" has talked about Black-on-Black VIOLENCE , which is an even more serious problem than White cops killing Black men in terms of the NUMBERS, which I find really ironic. 🤷‍♂️

PS: I've continued to wonder why Rock didn't block the slap and just took it on the chin? If it were me, I would have at least blocked it OR stepped out of the way, which could have easily been done, and more than likely would at least countered w/a straight forward jab to the chest.

It's funny, because race isn't supposed to matter to us anymore and we're supposed to be color blind. But if a white man had hit a black man we'd be seeing a big problem. It will be nice when, one day, race isn't part of it. It's just a man who smacked another man. For talking shit about his wife.

I don't have a problem with it, it's between Chris and Will, it doesn't concern me.

For the benefit of those who have been wondering, old Ronnie Hood is still alive and kicking. He's sick, but he's okay. He had us all a little bit concerned when he said he was coughing up blood and then ghosted the forum, but I heard from him today and he's alive and recuperating.

I agree 100 percent on his "acting skills." I've enjoyed a couple of his movies as pure escapism, but if he is Best Actor then Roseanne Barr should be Miss America.

It wasn't clear to me exactly what "BANNED from the Oscars presentation" meant - banned from presenting Oscars (e.g., he would normally present Best Actress Oscar next year) or banned from even attending the show. Turns out he is banned from the entire show. But . . . BFD. I and millions of others have been "banned" for our entire lives. 🤣 For the next ten years I will be rooting for him to morph into Daniel Day Lewis and win Oscar after Oscar . . . which they will not be able to present him. 🤣 Evil, aren't I?

Anyway . . . seems like a tempest in a teapot to me. No harm; no foul. I'm guessing Chris Rock was caught too off guard and was too shocked to do anything. Doesn't look like Smith did any damage. If he really wanted to do something, why didn't he deck him with a good hard punch to the jaw? I'm not going to say that slapping was considered a sissy move when and where I grew up, but . . . slapping was considered a sissy move when and where I grew up. 🤣

Anyway, I haven't watched the Oscars in years. So other than this whole trainwreck being more entertaining to me than the show . . . I DNGAF.

A slap between men is just meant to be an insult. That's how I always understood it.
