So. I got a 40' reefer at auction. This is a refrigerated insulated high cube shipping container. They're fantastic. Got it for a steal.

The auction was a cheese manufacturer in Alabama that went out of business.

The driver went over some scales. He's over weight. It's 16,000 lbs. There's over three tons of something inside.

I bought it sight unseen

It was supposed to be empty

It's a refrigerated container

From a cheese manufacturer

It should be here in the morning




What am I going to do if it is full of cheese? Three tons of cheese?

Was the thing still running? Might wanna let Sadie sniff around the door first. If she starts whining. I'd reconsider opening it 🤮
 
Back when my friends and I were around early twenties we would play Ultimate [frisbee] on a local school yard every weekend in the summer.
One day a buddy arrives and parks his car across the entire parking lot, pops his trunk, and walks down to the field. Naturally all of us were interested in why he did this. We smelled the reason prior to his arrival: He had left a gallon of milk in his trunk for a week while out of town.

These are to my two old fork lifts. It was all we could do to get that off of there. 16K. I was on the komatsu, Jo was on the Entwhistle. Mark was directing. The delivery driver was shitting his pants.

That was sketchy as hell.
