Random Thought Thread

Snatching this big refrigeration compressor off the shipping container to take it to the scrap yard and we're like, oh shit how are we going to cut that? I don't have a tube cutter that big and a sawzall on a big copper pipe like that is no good (copper grabs). Mark and I had the same thought at the same time, K18!

There's nothing that cuts like a K18. It's such a trip. It's not the durability, which is pretty moot in copper, it's the cutting capability.

I’ll take that used one too, just add it to the hammered UF2 invoice, I love your used knives.

Good stuff! I'm in the industrial hvac trade, we would've used a pipe cutter obviously cause we'd have had one, failing that a hacksaw......but a K18 would save time and be a lot more fun to use.

Don't know if I would ever have trusted a CPK sword in one of our apprentice's hands though. :D

Why do they aim for people? I mean, what do they get out of that? It just seems really bad for every party involved?
No idea, but I wasn't kidding when I said they seem to like heading for people when they fly.

Another interesting observation (saw a lot more of the big flying ones in Asia than in the US), only ONE time did I ever see pne land on a person's leg. They always seem to be aiming for the head or upper torso.

It's like they WANT maximum freakout effect, (and they're really loud when they fly. It's a distinctive sound between buzzing and fluttering).

wait.... theres a party in NC?

There's going to be. We plan to host a blade sports competition and after the sanctioned run we will do an outlaw run where competitors (perhaps anybody) can "run what they brung". Obviously Ben will run a K18...

I'll bring my silky katanaboy
