That is sound advice...lesson learnt

I got in for a DEK3 with sharpened top edge and popsicle sticks (plus an extra set of popsicle sticks to dress up something else - hopefully a DEK2 )

Does Oz allow double edged knives? Hard to keep track of all the different laws everywhere.

I thought I recalled someone having a CPK confiscated by their country's customs, due to being considered a double edged blade.

I think that is why I bowed out initially, incase they considered it that way. But looking over it again, I am unsure now.

There are many, many good things about Australia. But it is hard for a knife hobbiest. But to me that is all it is really.
At the end of the day, we (both) live in some of the most beautiful, safest countries in the world. Gotta count your blessings

We had to put Sully down today. First and last pictures I took of him. He was my buddy on walks every morning no matter the weather and lay on my feet in my home office all through COVID. He was my son Andy’s best friend, who he would whisper secrets to when he was having a bad day, my son Jack’s playmate, always patient with him even when Jack clocked him in the head with a wooden dump truck, and loved and tolerated by my son Eddie and my other dog Mo. It is too soon to say goodbye and I’m immensely sad.
