Where? Central CA Coast?

Here, east of Mt Diablo in the Sac River Delta/West Central Valley, it's currently 84F at 1025AM with a high of 101 expected around 4PM.

I always have to remember to dress in layers when I visit the coast which is usually 20-30 degrees cooler in summer than it is around here. ;)

Yep, Morro Bay (see avatar). At about 2pm, it's only 60F here today, due to the marine layer..........

In your honor, I picked up a 12 of Two-Hearted this afternoon while at the grocery.

I forgot how much malt it adds to the hops...compared to something like "Torpedo" which has a similar ABV at 7.2%, vs Bell's 7.0%

It's a nice change of pace...and better than I remembered.

Nice area. Never spent much time in Morro Bay. Mostly stayed in/near SLO for wine tasting and Pismo at Oceano Dunes when I was into 4wheeling.

Ever been to the Pozo Saloon about 40 miles east of you? Funky place that I searched out after 4wheeling thru the hills from Pismo. Great biker destination.

Looks like they're still open Fri-Sun w/Sunday night concerts on the calendar for Aug-Oct 2022. Website says they plan to reopen for daily service in 2023. Was thinking about buying another motorcycle and, if I do, I'll try to head down there again one last time.

BTW, it's predicted to reach 106 degrees in my area tomorrow!!! :eek:

Going out early to do errands and will be staying indoors the rest of the day.

Best sunset I've ever seen was on a boat off of Key West (they run special "sunset" tours) w/an old GF.

The ocean was calm and as you watched the sun set everything just went dark. It was quite impressive and very romantic as the boat returned to port.

You'll definitely score points if you take a spouse or GF there to see it. ;)

That is quite an impressive collection you have accumulated in a relatively short period of time. It seems you have exited the old bus(se) station and graduated to the fast track of high performance CPK's. You have shown where persistence, networking, and a good bankroll can take a determined CPK fan. There are some models you are missing though...;) I imagine you will find a way to fill in those blanks sooner than later.:thumbsup:
