I like that one, it runs pretty smooth. The Timber Terror on the other hand........whacked my knee on steel in the first turn and sat crumpled over for the rest of the ride praying it would end

I recently rode those swings on chains that go up high at this park in Connecticut called Quassy. I don't know if it's because I was too fat but instead of gently circling around after it lifted up, my swing started rocking violently back and forth and tilting forward upside down trying to dump me out. I had to wrap the chains around my hands and hang on to avoid getting thrown off. So, that park sucks.

I live like 15 minutes from there. Not a fan.

Good question ? I think it’s the oldest amusement park in CT. It’s been in business for like 110 years !! It still has that older vibe going on. People with younger children seem to still like it. But it’s nothing like all these newer parks.

Now there’s Six flags just over the line in MA. That location was the old Riverside park.

Many years ago like 1991 ish ? We went to Six flags in NJ/NY ? Back then you could drive through the safari with your car. Well they also let the monkeys or baboons run out in open. Now there was a road to go around them and warning signs if you wanted to drive ahead.
Now I had three passengers in my car. Did I listen to that voice in my head that said follow your gut,,, nope lol.
I was driving a 1990 black on black trans am with t-tops. Getting talked into it , I figured what’s the worst that could happen ?????? Those monsters lol ripped my antenna right off. Then began to whip my car with it Well the so called park rangers got them to back off. That lasted about 30 seconds , back again !!! This time they went after the rear spoiler !?!??!?? My spoiler had teeth and claw marks in it ! I looked like John Candy from The Great Outdoors lol. But no bears just crazy baboons on my car lol. It was crazy lol.

For those who would ask , yes I had to repaint my car And yes I wish I still had that car lol

Yes there was! It had a huge mountain coaster ride that was a blast. I left NY in 1983, so I was probably there in 1981 or 1982.

Drove on a really winding road for a bit and found ourselves in a place called Garden of Eden. I suppose its claim to fame is that is has a good view of a particular landmark from a scene in Jurassic Park!

From one junky (albeit legally, in my case) to another, avoid tobacco and/or caffeine until the good stuff wears off. Otherwise you might lose your taste for either entirely.
