So, does this mean that Nathan will now be known as @NathanTheOverlord ?

My official job title is "unfucker". Pretty much everything is fucked, on a daily basis. My job is to unfuck them.

Ben's business card will say "Nate's little bitch".

They all do.

USPS Signature tracking has been a waste of money since COVID. I sold an Axe on eBay with Signature Tracking and it got delivered to the guys porch (mailman signed the recipients name) then stolen off his porch. Then today, my two HDFK's arrived from USPS and they faked my signature and put it in my mailbox. Don't waste your money. Ship via UPS or FedEx if you want an actual signature.

in my neck of the woods I'd prefer 1 UPS------------------- 2 FedEx---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last USPS

Yesterday they scanned a package I was waiting for as picked up by me at the post office at 11.30 a.m...on a Sunday when the P.O. is closed.

It was in my mailbox later that afternoon...but that's beside the point. Scanning stuff (in advance) as delivered as a convenience to the carrier is unacceptable.

Yup.

The main reason I put up a security/videocamera that records the mailbox and the front road, was having several incidents where I'd either get a notification of "Package delivered" with no package to be found (only for it to be delivered the following day), or wait home all day for a $$$$ item, only to see a, "Delivery attempted. No one home" status on the tracking page. (Both USPS and FedEx).

Put the camera up, and the next time it happened, called up their CS, "I have the security footage that shows that the driver was never even on my street. Would you like me to send you the footage?".

Problem solved. Hasn't happened again since each call to USPS and FedEx.

Doesn't help much since my mailbox is a ten minute walk down the mountain. If it doesn't fit, then they come to the house.

Still doable, if you really wanted to have a camera setup. Whether it would have the same effect as it did for me, is the 2nd question (the 1st being whether you think it's worth the hassle/investment).
Not for me. And too subject to others' interference since it would be on either county or private property to accomplish.
