I’m going to throw my 2 cents in. FWIW I believe him. I agree he had it marked a little high, I offered him $450 and he ended up taking the offer and shipping the knife within a couple of hours. It was still a premium price but I didn’t think it was unfair or I wouldn’t have offered it. I think he grabbed what he could on a Friday sale and realized it just wasn’t for him. He decided to sell it and try to make a few bucks towards the signature series.

He offered to return any profit if that would square it away and he did just that. He showed me the receipts and returned the difference. If he was only interested in flipping he could have easily kept the money and opened up another BF account and try again and repeat the process. There is no rule that you have to have a certain number of posts to buy. Instead, he tried to make it right. As far as I’m concerned, he did.

Nathan, I totally understand that it’s not my business to run but I think a second chance is fair. He has a good idea of what the S SDFK would be like. If he gets one and sells it at an exaggerated price within a short period of time then we can be pretty sure I’m wrong and he is a flipper, only in it for the dollars. If he hangs on to it and especially if it gets use then maybe, just maybe he is turning into a CoCK.
