You're the expert, but my first thought would be gloss black with perhaps some gold flakes floating in clear coat...Don't know how crazy you'd want to get but I have a bit of color change paint left too
Might even be able to get some unreleased stuff to play around with too

I could certainly see using that as the source of the gold flakes.Goldschläger - Yoko's preferred gold flake clear coat...

But first...we toast!
We used to do shots of goldschlager while watching classic boxing (e.g. Hagler vs Hearns) on tape. Only good memories.Rumplemintz+ goldschlager used to be my go-to. Now I can’t even smell those without gagging.
Thanks man, means a lot.Your father will be thrilled with your effort. Looks like the handle could probably be slimmed and contoured a bit more, but overall, I like it.
Well done.
Alrighty then. Thanks man, means a lot.
He is left handed so I did some side finger wells on the other side. It is still thicker than i would like but to maintain the pattern i couldnt go thinner. I added the wells and it felt better in my left hand than right. Thanks though. The rest of the family liked it. My dad has yet to see it.
Made this for my dads birthday today. it is a big rig leaf spring steel with homemade mycarta with copper tube drill bit mosaic pins. hope he likes it.
