Holy shit! What was recovery like? Timeline? Full recovery?

They couldn’t cast it - just put my arm in a sling and told me not to move it that much. It hurt like hell, so I generally followed their advice. The worst part was sitting up in bed. The twisting and sitting up really hurt. Once I was upright it wasn’t that bad. It was probably 3-4 months before I was somewhat back to normal. To this day my left shoulder is a bit concave on the back side.

I wish 1554 came in cans...and was less expensive. (I do like it.) It's a lot more expensive locally than their other brews.

(They have a brewery in Asheville, but I pretty much stay out of there.)

I haven't had a 1554 in some time now. I have a fondness for black ales that don't exhibit the same heaviness as a Porter or Stout.

Likewise. 1554 is pretty unique in that way. I'm a big fan of black lagers as well, but finding them can be a challenge, at least round these parts.

Get out and vote folks. I voted yesterday, I'll be out of state on election day. I dont care who you vote for. Vote for what you believe in. It's your right and duty to vote. Our forefathers fought and died for that right. In my simple mind the problem with our society is we are running on the fringes instead of the center. But it's a cycle, tell me McCarthy wasn't on the fringe. It will swing around eventually.
