Alvin approves of the pup Jo! He likes the colors and markings!

She's Rottie colored, but she definitely has Rottie markings. Her mom is a blue heeler mix. Only about 30#. Not sure about the dad. She does look a bit like a baby Sadie. She is incredibly sweet, but these up every 3 hours to pee at night in 9 degree weather sure isn't much fun! :) She's worth it though. :)

I would like to welcome the CPK-Pup to the CPK-Family. May she have joy in the future taking aims at Nathan's derrière :D

P.S. does she have a name yet?

“ Jo the machinist “

That’s great !! She’s so cute !

For my little guy I used those puppy pads at the beginning and just kept moving them closer and closer to the door. He’s now learned to go to the door, but with that he’s learned to hold out longer and not every 2 hours.

They are so worth it :-) I’m thinking when Odin hits just about a year old. He’ll need a friend so it’s funny you mentioned a blue healer cause that’s what I’m thinking of getting :-)

She’s a cute little turkey!
If she’s anything like my Heeler, I’d kiss those stuffed animals goodbye because they’ll be shredded up in a matter of minutes once she hits the 12 week mark.
These little boogers are known for destroying toys that are supposed to be chew proof!
Size 1 soccer balls and large tennis balls from Target or Walmart are life savers.

Ahhhh Jo! These super cute pics of puppies and posts about puppys and dogs are terrible for me! My wife wants a puppy bad but now is a bad time for us!! We don’t even have an enclosed yard. Puppy pics are a super good way to shut off her reasoning centres.

And no I don’t want to build a fence it’s winter and I need a small excavator to come in and remove a concrete retaining wall, a cinder block fence and a raised bed held up by rocks holding about 30yards of dirt first.

Our GSD was already about 6 months old when we got her but still a lot of chewing, peeing, pooping and digging and general damage of shoe / furniture was ahead of her before she totally calmed down and got the grasp of common canine etiquette with proper training:

Omg Casino, no joke. We lost 2 Mac charging cords, a couple other charging cords, at least 2 shoes and I don’t know what else. They don’t call em land sharks for nothing. Ours is about to turn 9 mos. He calmed quite a bit around 6-7 mo’s on the chewing. Great dogs though.
