I think the Remington Tac-14 is probably the ultimate bedside gun for hallway-range home defense. So I just ordered one.

For $400? Why not. I spent more on way less.

I think the Remington Tac-14 is probably the ultimate bedside gun for hallway-range home defense. So I just ordered one.

Speedfeed used to make a bird's head stock, similar to the one on the Tac 14. I had one on my 870 for a while, but it just felt awkward. Definitely not a range gun with that stock on there! lol I feel most comfortable with a standard stock with around a 13" LOP. The 870 is going to be devastating, regardless of what furniture it's wearing!

I like the compact package that the Tac-14 shows up as. 26.3” overall is perfect for what I want. Just gotta figure out a light to mount on the little guy. 5rds of 00 or 000 buckshot could do the trick against any 2-legged intruder.

I do and I have and don't even ask as to how for a none-smoker
