Stay clear of the downed lines, brother. Just because they look off and it’s dark doesn’t mean they are off or won’t come back on. High voltage is unforgiving.

Not trying to tell a grown man how to handle his business. I just give a shit because I’ve responded to many power-related fatalities and near-misses over the years.

😢 I’m not……You mentioned a while back that you’d laid off the sauce when you were ill. I thought to myself, “Self, you’ve been drinking gloriously and often for most of your life. Self, you haven’t been feeling healthy for a while. Self, you work way too much and don’t sleep enough.”
I never really listen to my “self” in moments like that. This time though, I say FLUCKENGRUVIN, I’m spending the next 30 sober and rested. I may even get in shape and save $.
Can anybody guess what I’ll do with the $$$???? Anyways, I look forward to my next drink and in due time…..I also look forward to being a healthier version of myself and living a little longer.
Sorry for the rant….I must be convincing myself. Please have one for my sorry arse ! 🤪

So I’ve had one of these “near beers” in the ‘ol garage beer fridge for a loooooong time. Not bad. Kinda tastes like “heavy petting” vs 4th base, lol !

Who remembers a sexy and mean DEK variant that has a satin hollow grind, 15 dps, popsicle stick-ish scales, etc. ???

I saw a pic and the big man’s (NtM) listing a short while back but I can’t find it now. I’ve seen a couple similar DEKs during my studies, as well. Any hints concerning these variants ? I’m planning on saving my drankan’ $ up until I can make an offer that someone can’t refuse (in the appropriate thread and format, of course) 😉

Those hollow ground DEK1s are extremely rare. There are a few more FK2 and UF2 versions around than the HG-DEK1.
