Never did the fast food gig but worked at a car wash in high school. The things we had to clean out of cars …. Also my first experience in plumbing hydraulic lines when I accidentally busted one within my first month. Oops.

I had one of the best first jobs, renting 15’ and 16’ fiberglasss fishing boats next to the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. Work started a 3am, so time in the morning to throw out fish guts to bait in crows. Used my Benjamin pump pellet gun for target practice. Work required moving the boats on to a trolley then letting them down on railroad tracks into Puget Sound, days off I got to fish off point no point and Rays boathouse. Those were the days.

Grew up on a farm, my first job(s) were shoveling pig manure, baling hay and picking rock. I don’t eat hay or rocks anymore but I still eat pork. I do clean it before I eat it however.

I will say... I'm a bit concerned , when I went beverage shopping a lot of my favorites are sold out.... might have to load my truck up with growlers and make a few stops tomorrow !

My wife was out running some errands today and reported that it is absolute madness out there. Seems people are really ready to say bye-bye to 2022 and are gearing up to tie one on tomorrow (or today).
