The Military bouts to get a boat load of new fans.
P.S. tip down is the only way
The appropriateness of tip down carry might be directly correlated to how aggressively you put on your pants.

Unpopular opinion: Compression locks are garbage. The new Stretch XL in Cruwear is the best "Military" (it is essentially a backlock Military) outside of the original Military. There is going to be a 4V Military (original liner lock version) soon as an exclusive from St. Nick's knives. I'll be buying a few of those, but I have zero interest in the Military 2.

Not in the market at the moment for any new Spydercos...but I'll take it under advisement.I love the CW Stretch 2XL .... (must have,Blues - just saying). But: it's thinner than the Military, so it's different

No tip down carry for me, ever. What’s the deal with tip up or down. I have a few knives in either configuration but yet to see how it is so polorizing
No tip down carry for me, ever.
The only knife I've ever had a problem with is the Benchmade Aphid. I carried it in my front pocket and when I reached in for my keys, my hand got spiked by a partially deployed blade. Luckily, I knew what was happening at the time and immediately stopped. Always tip up against the seam of my front pocket now. I'm also not a fan of assisted openers, but that's another story.
What pocket are you carrying the knife in? The only way I would ever carry a tip down would be in the back pocket, against the seam. But I don't like carrying a knife there.I've been stabbed by a few Spyderco comp locks in tip up that partially opened in my pocket. Never been nipped by my tip down Militaries.
Grumpy Pants reporting for duty! Sir!The appropriateness of tip down carry might be directly correlated to how aggressively you put on your pants.
