That’s all that matters, that last memory of having a beer with him will stay with you forever. Very grateful!ThanksMurphjd25
Good guy and I'm taking it as a positive to have a beer with him finally before he was gone
Feel bad being a downer, but he was an awesome person..... and I'm glad I couldn't have a better last memory with him
Thank youSorry to hear about this yoko. It is a blessing that you have some fond memories to look back on. Pour a little out next time you have one. Cheers to him.
bummer, man.Crazy day....
My wife called me earlier today at work....a neighbor found her dad passed away in his chair... he's had some health issues a few years ago but had been doing well lately....
When me an my wife first became a couple her dad and aunt welcomed me with open arms... her mother and that side of the family was always awkward..... made me feel like I didn't belong without saying it
I've never had a beer with her dad ... but Friday at her brother's wedding reception he actually had a few with me and it was fun.... Monday he stopped by to pick something up and offer my wife celery (he was hilariously random like that)
And now this..... I'll miss him and now that my wife is asleep I just felt like speaking my mind, he made me feel like I was his family and I could always get him laughing in tears
R.I.P Craig D. Your were the best father in law a jack ass like me could ask for
Cheers
