Good guy and I'm taking it as a positive to have a beer with him finally before he was gone

Feel bad being a downer, but he was an awesome person..... and I'm glad I couldn't have a better last memory with him
That’s all that matters, that last memory of having a beer with him will stay with you forever. Very grateful!

Just remember as you get older , people you enjoy being around are getting older too

In that moment think.... WWYD ... what would yoko do... lol

Crack an adult beverage and appreciate that time... have a few laughs

Life is short .... kick ass and enjoy the company of all who kicked ass before you!!!!!!!

I appreciate all you members here and thank you Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist and Jo the Machinist Jo the Machinist and the rest of the cpk crew for the best place on the internet

(This could def be a part of the I ❤️ Nathan thread lol)

But I've met so many people here I consider good friends it's ridiculous

Crazy day....

My wife called me earlier today at work....a neighbor found her dad passed away in his chair... he's had some health issues a few years ago but had been doing well lately....

When me an my wife first became a couple her dad and aunt welcomed me with open arms... her mother and that side of the family was always awkward..... made me feel like I didn't belong without saying it

I've never had a beer with her dad ... but Friday at her brother's wedding reception he actually had a few with me and it was fun.... Monday he stopped by to pick something up and offer my wife celery (he was hilariously random like that)

And now this..... I'll miss him and now that my wife is asleep I just felt like speaking my mind, he made me feel like I was his family and I could always get him laughing in tears

R.I.P Craig D. Your were the best father in law a jack ass like me could ask for

Cheers

My sincere condolences to you and your wife Yoko. I’m glad you can find peace in the special times you had together with him, especially just having had that first beer. Prayers for the both of you 🙏
