Roving gangs of deer searching for guns and CPKs in river bottoms. Law enforcement stymied in their efforts to quell herd violence...

they can look at the bottom of the lake I lost them in during last years deer hunt.
Well, that's why my hands will be cold and dead, because I'll be diving to around 80' looking for all mine that went overboard when a wakeboard boat went by too close and fast, flipping me in my little club 14' Aluminum boat all those years ago. They'll still work, right? 🤔

Oregon still has a knife show? I'm surprised the Portlandians haven't put a stop to that by now.

Covid did quite a number on the show, it was cancelled a couple years in a row (if memory serves). Lot of excitement for this one as a lot of folks who haven't been able to attend the last few years are going to be present.

Today I had to sign up for a very limited headcount program for my daughter. They indicated that registration would start at exactly 5 PM EST and spots would be filled on a first come first served basis via online enrollment only.

These rookies didn't even open it until 5:00:17.

I'd say she probably got in. Thanks, Friday sales!

Edit- she did get in 👌❤️

Lol! Sadly, it's the same for some camping sites for me. Open, go, go, go, GO!!! Bam, booked, no problem. But it sucks when the availability goes online at midnight lol. Wyoming is the WORST though, they let residents book stuff a couple weeks before out of staters (maybe it's only a week, I can't recall), so the awesome sites we had last year might not be available again next year. 😩 😤

I kind of get it though. I'd be a bit cheesed off if non-residents kept swooping in and preventing me from camping in my own backyard. Which happens all the time, by the way - the PNW is a popular outdoors destination.
