it's not so simple, is what I'm trying to point out. This is a trade issue

I don’t see it frankly. The article doesn’t make a good case for it.
How much commerce does this represent a year? Nearly nothing in the scheme of things.
And what would it be in response to? Why would Canada act first?
Canada holds the same stance on many other items in the firearms industry as well. We manufacture firearm suppressors and export them but normal citizens can’t own one never mind import one. That’s Canada’s current liberal nanny state.
I think this is just a tightening down of freedoms like the recent Swiss Arms debacle and other re-interpreting of laws by unelected bureaucrats because they can as cucktard leaders like Trudeau care way more about fashion and social media image than they do about topics that are of primary concern outside the urban centres and liberal strongholds where the have nearly no votes anyways. Just one more reason people will be voting Conservative again. And if B.C. moves to a representative voting system on the referendum I bet things will start to change without any trade issues being brought up.
Rural people are getting pretty fed up with it. Look at the outpouring of financial support for Gerald Stanley. That should be a pretty clear message.
