Congrats on the grand babies man! I can imagine that's a great feeling. I found out I'm having another girl last week as well. Babies make an ugly world just a little brighter

On April 11/23 my daughter gave birth to twins!!! A girl (15:23) and boy (15:24). Aurora Anne was 5lbs13oz and Jaxon Alexander was 6lbs3oz. They are about 4 weeks early as was her first born in Oct of 2021.
They are both healthy and doing well!! Learning to bottle feed but assisted with a feeding tube.
I am a very HAPPY and lucky Papa!!

Yeah, I've seen tons of stuff like that. Yeast, milk that's out of date, various bacterial and enzyme products etc.

Bottom line, (pun not intended), is that for the most part, just putting only what belongs in the septic tank in the septic tank, (and keeping the filter, if there is one, hosed off every year or so), will keep the system running to the point that many folks don't even need the tank pumped.

When I was researching the topic, I had email correspondence with some scientists that conducted studies on the subject at a university somewhere in the Midwest. I no longer have the correspondence or I'd share it here for those who may find it of interest.

In any case, anecdotally, we have gone 17 years without any sort of supplementation. But folks are gonna do what they're gonna do.

Well since this is now the septic thread……I noticed an unpleasant odor in a storage space and found this today when investigating. Apparently the uncharacteristic snow storm we had took out a vent pipe. Good times.

I do know the power of slugs and buckshot. too powerful for in the house.

I'm a big fan of #4 buckshot. It's like a fist full of 22 rounds.

I prefer other weapons to a shotgun for home defense though. Just my personal preference.

I think so. The wall in the crawl space/storage area is just an unfinished plywood wall so, between that and the roof I’m hoping I can get to it without tearing into the roof or any of the tongue and groove cedar walls that are everywhere else inside and out and on the ceiling. I don’t have time to get into it today so I’ll find out soon.
