My pug ate one about that size and had to have it cut out. We were cooking outside and spilled bacon grease on the ground. I have no idea how she even got it down. She recovered but it was a pretty invasive surgery and long recovery. Agreed, dogs will try to eat anything. Great looking crew you have there.

Wow, glad she made a full recovery! The French had it, but I caught him in time. Thanks for the compliment!

My Weimaraner did the same. I spent a night up with him inducing vomiting and walking him around. The vet told me the next day that he's pretty certain I saved his life that night.

It was an awful night for my wife and me. But we were thankful to keep him alive.

Anyone want to sell me their K20 spot, so we can get a K20 sent to Lorien to make sheathes?
Don't forget, although we're used to seeing very precise tolerances on CPK, Nathan mentioned that there might be some variation in the curvature of these coming out of the heat treatment. If they turn out very similar, great, otherwise a carefully fit saya might not accommodate a different one.

My CPK budget took a big hit recently :(. The boy hydroplaned on the highway and hit the guardrail hard enough to set off the seat and side curtain airbag in his 2009 Accord that we only got 2 years ago. Luckily he was fine (could have been so much worse), and he drove it home, which wasn't good. But it did mean that officially it never actually happened, so our insurance didn't explode. But that also meant we couldn't put in a claim. Was going to cost more to fix it than it was worth, so had Peddle come and get it and got $950.

So we needed a 3rd car, but rather than overspend on another "cheap" car for the boy in this market, said F it and got something for the wife. She f'ing loves it! The boy can drive one of the other 2 cars when he's home from school.

Glad "the boy" is okay.

May I recommend the following plea...?

"For just $11 a month..."

The Boy:

"Why didn't you tell him that you were the one driving?"
There would still be the issue of leaving the scene. Even though it was a single-car accident, the damage was obviously over $1k, so it was technically unlawful to leave (in MA). Might have been able to claim he didn't know better, but doubt that would fly for my wife or I.
