I took some time off this week for April school vacation and did a bunch of stuff with my kids including a couple hikes, a bunch of board games, a trip into Boston to see the USS Constitution, and some yard work. In the gym right now typing this up between sets and when I’m done with that we should have the latest episode of Succession to watch. So all things considered…not a bad week. How's everyone's Sunday going?
I cut all the bares of the grape vines , but it stayed to rain a bit harder before I finished untangling the rest
Now I'm enjoying an adult beverage watching the food that built America with my wife
(I really like this show lol)
Is this a fictional wool carpet universe, a fictional nylon carpet universe, a fictional polyester carpet universe . . . ?hypothetically how would someone in a fictional universe get blood out of carpet where in said fictional universe the properties of blood and carpet are exactly like in ours?

club soda?
most likely cheap of the line poly.Is this a fictional wool carpet universe, a fictional nylon carpet universe, a fictional polyester carpet universe . . . ?
In that fictional universe, one would first mix two cups of COLD water with a tablespoon of dishwashing detergent and DAB or BLOT the blood spot with a clean cloth, using just enough of the mixture to dampen the area, but no so much as to saturate it. Wait and repeat one or two more times if necessary.most likely cheap of the line poly.

It does. However, it also may seriously discolor your carpet or rug, in particular fading the color(s). That is why I think of it as a Hail Mary solution. I would suggest testing it first on a portion of the carpet that will not bother you if it becomes discolored or faded.Diluted peroxide applied to blood loosens it up drastically while cleaning it up.
Hence why I said diluted- good advice to try it in a corner of a closet or such.It does. However, it also may seriously discolor your carpet or rug, in particular fading the color(s).
