In the moment…it feels like it.

Oregon is not too far behind, though thankfully, our current mess of legislation is tied up in litigation.

I'd be hard pressed to move though - there isn't a place quite like the PNW. A lot of my co-workers and bosses jumped ship awhile back and they moved to states that sound bloody freakin' miserable to reside in. But hey, the politics are in their favor... 🤷‍♂️

I dislike poorly written law based on knee-jerk reactions which is what a lot of regulation (in many areas) stems from. I'm fine with taking action where warranted - I don't like rushed laws though, they usually suck.

I have a confession to make...

I just don't like Ulticlips.

Give me a DCC any day...but since they're out of stock everywhere I look for the Mod 4 Universal, I just ordered a couple of the Mummerts. Hopefully, I'll like those.
I don't care for them on knife sheaths, but I don't really do pocket fixed blades either.

They are fantastic for IWB holsters though.

In its infinite wisdom, the elected government of the great state of Washington decided to ban the manufacture, purchase, and sale of these guys today :View attachment 2165004Not a happy day ! However,God bless this amazing country. I pray that we all stand together and work towards a brighter future than we’ve been having. Have a safe and blessed evening, CPK !
That's bad news indeed. I agree with ferider ferider on his list.. they will either try to ban or track ammo sales soon. An outright ban probably won't work, but they could possibly talk a lot of idiots into a system where you need a NICS check to buy it.

Imo its already a de facto registery if you remember the ATF admitting they have like a billion records from gun stores that have gone out of business about a year ago.

They basically got off by saying they were using it to "track gun related crimes" as if the majority of people doing the vast majority of crimes are doing so with legally obtained weapons.

Something weird is going on.. I'm convinced something bad (and I'm not sure what exactly) is going to happen in the very near future. I think they want us as ill prepared to ready ourselves as possible. It might be I'm a paranoid psycho though.. that's up in the air I suppose.

Looks like they included over 50 rifles including any semi-automatic with detachable magazine or any fixed magazine that holds more than 10 rounds. Oh, and no barrel shrouds or flash suppressors.
So a Ruger 10/22 falls under that with the scary detachable magazine, as does just about any tube fed .22 rimfire rifle (being a fixed magazine).

Craziness! Just enforce laws already on the books.

*Edited to say rifles.
You know that particular logic falls on deaf ears. It's the evil tool, not the evil doer.

Sigh.

I'll take a DCC for AIWB or IWB every time...but if it works for you, that's all that matters.

If I'm wearing a belt...all my AIWB holsters, (which is the only way I carry daily), have either DCC or fixed loops. I stopped using PTD loops for the most part.

1) Cool HDFK sheath
2) Time to get an M14/M1a
3) Ammo background checks will be next
4) Vote early and often

Only half kidding. Hello from California.
1 Yah, that’s a great sheath. Got it from a great dude that lives in Cali.
2 I’ve always wanted those 2. Currently, my safe is full and they’re not trying to take currently owned rifles, yet ? I’ll bet the law gets overturned but that will be a very lengthy process. Many businesses will struggle and possibly fold by then.
3 Ammo ? Ouch, that might be an issue. A certain feller might have a little more than the average Liberal lawmaker “deems necessary”.
4 Yes ! However, the writing on the wall is suggesting that my future votes will be counted in a different state.

Hello to you, my friend ( from the top of the “ Left Coast” )

While it doesn't have as much stopping power, good aim goes a long way... I have a CZ P10F 9mm with 19 round magazine from the factory, have 4 of them. One with a plus 5 extension on it. Usually hit up the range around 3 week intervals.
They are focusing on the wrong thing, as usual, its the nut behind the gun, not the gun.
Very, very true.

Intrigued! Marc seems to have a neat and tidy handwriting style, never knew it! Grats on whatever that bastid had sent you, it's been rumored that he's got some great stuff ;)

So that's what they meant with that whole "Virginia is for Lovers" campaign...
You should see the freeway. I had an idea for a show called Driving With [fill in the profanity]. I'd just record my commute with me hurling abuse at other drivers.
My idea didn't test well so far. Both my wife and son say it's stupid...

Seems normal to me...in NYC, Miami and here in Hooterville.

I can't help myself.
