Yesterday I hiked above the town of Glenwood Springs, CO to pay my respects to "Doc." He has a fine view from his resting place.

We’re heading out that way this summer… love living in Colorado.

We were planning on stopping to see Doc Holliday's final resting place on the way back from Paonia to Beaver Creek, but we got caught in a massive rainstorm and we were on motorcycles so decided another time.

Always regretted missing it.

if you're ever in Minnesota...

I'm sorry. it's not that great.
My old climbing partner from back in the 70's and early 80's lived in the Rochester area, but out in the country. I flew up there years ago to visit for a week or so.

Had fun, but didn't like the loose farm dogs during my morning runs.

I stand corrected.

Agate hunting here is second to none.

When I was growing up, I spent two weeks every summer visiting my grandparents in Two Harbors. Agate hunting on beach below the cabin and a visit to Rocky’s Agate Shop and Betty’s Pies were mandatory events every year. Great memories. Of course once I was old enough to drive and visited Duluth my opinion of Minnesota changed for the worse…😲
