It’s a tough call for me.
“Number of the Beast” has the bigger hits and is a great album.
But if I think of the best overall Maiden album I have to give a slight edge to “Piece of Mind”.
All that being said I probably listen to “Live after death” more than anything - that way I get to hear the hits from both those albums and few other classics off other albums.
“Piece of Mind” is one of my “go to” albums if/when I can talk myself into jogging.

“Piece of Mind” is one of my “go to” albums if/when I can talk myself into jogging.

I like Painkiller by Priest for my 200m time trials. Some favorites by Maiden include Hallowed be thy name and the Trooper.
