Don't know...never seen it.

Back in the day, it was a book.*

"Books" were these paper things, usually with hard covers (*front and back), that people used to read.

I really hope I didn’t lose my favorite knife.

You’ve motivated me to look for my other Randall amaze that I have not seen since March 2020. As soon as I have the energy.

I hope you find it. Last month my Buck Knives Paradigm Shift disappeared and I wasn’t carrying it, it was safely stored away, just like the Randall. My wife claims it didn’t just walk off on it own, but I don’t believe her.

I had to laugh at this ^^^ post.

When I read your post before it, it made me think of my Dad.

I used to ask him. "Dad, do you know where my _______ (*fill in the blank) is? He would always say, "It's where you left it."

My Dad would do the exact same thing. Drove me crazy to no end when I was a kid and he would say that. Now, it makes me laugh. I guess I've matured. 😊

For me, it's the lack of it.

I think I've told y'all this before, but my Dad passed in 2012. I'd kill for just a crumb of his wit and harassment, now.

It's amazing what you want when you know you can't have it.

For sure. My Dad had an incredibly dry wit, that I didn't always appreciate enough at the time. Sometimes it was so dry I didn't even know he was joking until I thought about it later. But on the other hand, I still think about him today, and he still makes me laugh, so I guess that's a pretty good legacy.
