Ted Mack "Amateur Hour" brought by Geritol.
I'll be here all week.

As a kid, I had NO idea what Geritol was, but I knew that it was for old folks because they were like the main sponsor of "Lawrence Welk" which my pops watched relgiously every Saturday night, right after "Hee Haw." Which I could never figure out how those two shows could both be anyone's favorite.

Until I hit puberty.

LOL.
That's enough hair to cover a small country.

LOL.

I spent enough time being grounded and sent to bed right after to dinner while my parents watched those shows in the other room, that if a re-run ever comes on the television when I'm not paying attention to it, I'll know the show just came on based on how my mood changes to one of boredom, dread and despair.

There was no way to save those shows for me later in life, after their music sank into my bones during my groundings, and imprinted on me like a malevolent cloud in the room.

I had to play that twice 'cause the first time all I saw was a giant bosom between Jerry and Roy. Didn't even see Jerry or Roy - just the bosom. 🤣

That ladies room joke doesn't quite hit the same today. LOL. Times have changed!

I saw Roy Clark one time at a state fair. Nice as heck, and MAN could he pick! And I think folks sleep on Jerry Reed because he was such a goof ball, but that man could play, too!
