So you recall that during the supply chain issues, one of the shortages being mentioned was shortage of drivers with CDL so lotsa people started rushing to those kind of driving schools in the hope of filling those kinda jobs. Anyway, during my last long haul excursion up the I-5, I noticed more Indian looking (subcontinent of India) truck/lorry drivers and also more Indian type fast-food restaurants popping up at the truck stops; I had not noticed this evolution before! However, I'm GTG with this as I prefer Tandoori over Panda Express while the road and Chai over Starbucks coffee. #winning 😁

*also not denigrating an entire subset of people, just implying that perhaps because of the language barrier maybe it would be harder to get into USPS system for fresh immigrants than getting a CDL?

Makes sense. I will add you no longer need to pass a drug test or have citizenship to work USPS 😝

Pretty impressive.

The only time I really look to see what the semi driver looks like, is when 1 of the idiots has been blocking traffic in the passing lane for the last 5+ minutes, with the moron in the left lane either passing at 0.2mph, or worse, sloooooowly creeping ahead on the uphill, only for the semi in the right lane to sloooooowly creep ahead on the downhill, and the 2 keep swapping for miles, side-by-side. 😤
