Took my boy and godson for a hike today up at Baker. The wild huckleberries are still really green up this high. View attachment 2230218View attachment 2230219View attachment 2230220View attachment 2230221View attachment 2230222

I hate lawn tractors , I hate lawn tractors , just hate them ……. ☹️☹️☹️

Fixed now , two idler pulleys went south. But the way JD mounts them to deck on this model is horrible !!!!!!!

New transmission belt , mower belt , idler pulleys. Oh yeah and some new bolts and hardware replacing the ones I had to cut off !!

Yes while under it I had Jack stands in place 👍👍

Sorry about the frustration but I like the jack- nice to cradle the tires, and the stabilizer front bar. I just greased the bearings on my Polaris Ranger out in the country on a gravel area and floor jack sunk down dramatically.

Took the deck off the Sabre we have at the cabin for the first time last weekend. The blades weren't lined up so my buddy and I busted out a the hammers and got to straightenin'. Also discovered a 2x3" hole in the deck where I'm assuming a piece of blade made its way through at a high rate of speed at one point. Yikes.

Thanks 🙂👍

This jack is really nice , it’s stable too. I was always using a regular floor jack. It also just dug in and was a PIA. For my floor floor jacks, I keep some flat sheet steel around to put under the jacks. But they are tough to carry with you.

Have a 22 year old Craftsman that still has its original belts. Have new ones, but until one breaks I ain't touching it.

Well this tractor is around 10 years old now ??? Changing the belts was never on the list. But my father decided he’d help me out by cutting the lawn for me. I came home early to smell smoke , like a burnt rubber. I then noticed his truck here and heard the tractor. I come around to the back to see smoke billowing out from the tractor !?!?!!!
He just kept on mowing lol. Burned chunks off the belts, melted the bearing in one pulley. The other pulley got so hot it seized itself onto its mount stud !!!! It was impressive it was still cutting lol.

What are you gonna do lol. Guess it’s karma for all the wheelies I tried to do with his stick shift craftsman tractor many many moons ago lol.

We're so sorry, but we haven't heard a thing all day
We're so sorry, uncle Albert
But if anything should happen
We'll be sure to give a ring

We're so sorry, uncle Albert
But we haven't done a bloody thing all day
We're so sorry, uncle Albert
But the kettle's on the boil
And we're so easily called away
