Gonna be 78º today. But our place is higher than a fair bit of the rest of the state (our house is at 6300'). I would imagine it's going to be a scorcher down in the southwestern part of the state.

I figured it would be a good bit cooler your direction. I'm going to gain some elevation this weekend. The heat is about a deal-breaker here for me. Cheers sir.

Your post in the other thread reminded me that my 8" dob hasn't been pointed at the sky lately. (I have a lot less of it visible at the house because the darn trees have gotten so tall all around us. But still...

I've got 4 scopes and always take a break from around march to August just because of what's visible. But its about time for me to get them back out. Love taking Astrophotography of all the nebula and galaxies.

Do share your future images...I for one will very much enjoy them. I've been into astronomy since the early 1960's.
