Man I wished I lived in that area! Do you ever go over to Glacier Park? Or just the Parks in Washington?

I’ve been to glacier in Montana a couple of times, absolutely beautiful. We have a little known gem here though in the North Cascades National park. I like to spend my time up there or around Baker. We have more glaciers then glacier national park does.

El Niño is apparently a doozy this year. It's impact on the PNW is going to irritate me. I really like my cool, wet autumns - it makes for much better hunting. When the fall is simply an extension of summer, it pisses me off.

Went up to 111 this afternoon.
I was on a rooftop fixing an a/c till 6pm.

Yup. I’m probably doing the high mountain hunt this year strictly because it’s going to be hot.

This place has a tram that goes from the base at 7800' up to the top of the mountain at 11,000'. It's $45 per person, but it's free to take down if you climb up. Me and my son made the climb but it was about the limit for this sea level guy.
