I’m driving and we’re heading out to the Methow Valley tomorrow morning, so unfortunately I’m going to keep it tame tonight.Remember - all things in moderation and be responsible.

I would scare half of you all away in real life I bet.I will say this sub forum is magical !
I've met so many people here that I text or keep in contact with and consider good friends it's ridiculous
Nathan the Machinist and
Jo the Machinist and the rest of the CPK crew ..... this place is awesome and I think it is a major reflection on not only what you produce and your standards... but also you all as people
Thank you!
I’ll take you up on that one.I would scare half of you all away in real life I bet.
Shout out to Schlage...
My front door handleset bit the dust with the thumbpiece no longer activating the latch. Bought a replacement set off amazon but while checking a video on youtube, dude said that Schlage warrants the sets like forever. My set has to be 20 years old.
So, I sent an email with images to them a week or ten days ago and I have a new set coming in via UPS.
You can't beat that. I won't uninstall and return to amazon for credit, I'll just keep a spare just in case. But pretty cool warranty. Gotta say.
I would scare half of you all away in real life I bet.
I would gladly take that bet, also. It’s better to have friends than enemas !!!I’ll take you up on that one.
Is this with or without shoes on?I would scare half of you all away in real life I bet.
You guys had better hope UPS doesn't go on strike or hire temps.
I was just walking back to my home with the dog and saw the UPS truck in front of the neighboring property. As he was getting into the truck I asked him if he had just dropped off a package at the next house down the road and his reply...
"I may have, I may not have, I can't remember. If I did, I left it on the porch."
Good thing I didn't ask if he left something two homes over. WTF?
I sure hope he isn't going to be the regular driver either. (But he did deliver the box...and it had the new Schlage handle and lock set.)I sure hope that wasn’t your regular driver, geez
It really sounds more like a free hire temp driver that UPS hires over the summer & Christmas crunch. Our contract allows for 59 day free hires during the summer to help cover the extra vacation time of the regular drivers, same with Christmas Crunch time drivers too.
The free hires get to drive and get the experience with no expectation of a permanent job offer. The few outstanding examples do at times get offered a full time position after their 59 days are up, but they all go into it knowing they all will be let go after their temp status is over.
They only get 1 week of classroom training and 1 week of on the road with a supervisor training, then they are cut loose on their own. All but the very best get pretty frazzled quite easily, sometimes they literally can’t even remember their own first name by the end of the day
Go easy on himBlues , don’t make those questions so tough next time
