Owl or larger bird of prey?

Owls are usually hairy pellets, often with bones. I'm guessing coyote...but I don't spend time studying scat much so, I'm not sure. We have bobcats too.

Yeah, I'm not going to pretend I know. I know bear shit when I see it...and deer scat...and squirrel and owl for the most part.

I've never been a hunter of four legged critters...so I can't profess any expertise.

I would also guess fox or coyote. Bobcats usually cover it up. And around here the foxes never miss an opportunity to place it deliberately on something, such as a large rock, log, cut firewood rounds, or ect.

Big kitty.
Coyotes poop looks like dog poop.
Cats groom themselves often and get their hair mixed in with their prey.
They also lick the fur off of their kill.
