The USPS sucks. I had a knife I was supposed to receive on Monday, the distribution center sent it to who knows where.

Gets back to the distribution center yesterday. Okay, now I've got some hope that it will be to the local P.O. this morning.

Nope. Today they send it to a small city 45 minutes from here. Seriously? You send a container every morning to my local P.O. Every friggin' day. This is not a new route.

I have a nice lady from the local P.O. who I spoke with first on Monday, trying to get the other facility to send it to them rather than send it back, yet again, to the distribution center in SC.

WTF? It's like living in hell.

Agreed, and it's getting worse in my experience. Nothing against the folks who work at my local Post Office - they're good people, who I do really believe are trying their best. But the bigger picture is definitely a shitshow, and I don't see how it could be described as "efficient."

I'd like to get my hands on the dolt in Greenville who can't figure out how to sort parcels into the correct bin to be loaded into containers. It wouldn't be pretty. Once, I get. Twice...no. Now you're pissing me off.

I guess I should save my ire for shit that really matters...but it does irk me.

(Admittedly, it's nothing compared to the frustration which Nathan and company are experiencing with the MagnaCut blades. That really sucks.)

The location of the ceremonial burial site is towards the back of the "compound". It would be pretty weird if somebody were able to get both in and out of there without being converted into Sadie poop in the process.
So if someone pulls a discarded K20 from the creek, do they become the king of the compound? Or do they first have to duel the reigning monarch, which I presume is Jo?

Watch out, Nathan has a friend in the creek.

Did you get the knife you were waiting for?

What are you guys using for storage? I have a bunch of knives just shoved in drawers and boxes and I’d like to organize and store them more carefully. I don’t want to cut into the knife budget for Gerstner boxes or anything though.

- Inve$ting beaucoup amount of $ on many and multiple CPKs: double check!

- Splurging decent $ on quality leatherwork sheaths and pouches: check!

-Throwing in the drawers for storage in a disorderly fashion: check ... ran out of $ when I reached this phase of collecting!
